We come together as God’s church each Sunday morning at 9:30am for prayer and connecting to the Lord. At 10:00 am we usually start singing and worshiping Jesus. We meet at 122 W. 29th Street in Loveland, Colorado.
Our gathering environment starts long before we actually arrive on Sunday morning. We desire more than showing up to church and expecting to be entertained. We don’t come to merely “see” something; rather, we gather as God’s church with the intention of finding Him. We want each person to actually experience who God is and the love that He has for every individual. With that in mind, our gathering is not simply a time when we “go to church.” Instead, we show up expecting God to be there and to be real when we gather as an expression of His church. Our expectation is that each person comes with an eagerness to be a part of what God wants to do. This is the starting point: a heart that loves God and loves others with a genuine desire to know Jesus better ourselves. In turn, we see it as our mission to introduce Him to others.
What Gatherings Are Like:
- Singing together – we sing as a form of worship and celebration of Jesus
- Sharing scripture – we will often simply encourage one another by reading scripture
- Prayer – we will pray a lot in various different forms: in large groups, in small groups, and by ourselves
- Communion – our gatherings include a time when we will specifically remember who Jesus is and what He has done on the cross
- Collaborative teaching – God’s Word will be shared through teachings or messages, but many times these are interactive and take on more of a discussion form rather than a speech form
Other Expectations:
- Casual atmosphere – think of our gathering place as a big living room rather than a “church building”
- Conversation – come early and stay late to hang out and engage in conversation with others over a cup of coffee
- Casual dress – wear whatever makes you comfortable
